Opportunities at Deveronvale FC  - 19/5/17
Deveronvale are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help the Club in the following roles:

Commercial Co-ordinator. A key element of this role entails marketing the Club’s sponsorship packages to ensure maximum utilisation of the Sponsors Lounge at home matches. A brochure for the coming season has been prepared, which sets out the packages on offer for season 2017-18. The role may also include other commercial activities, such as the marketing of advertising boards, website adverts and management/player sponsorships. Candidates need to have a good network of connections, both in the local area and in Aberdeen.

Matchday Co-ordinator. This role entails the co-ordination of matters on home matchdays, ensuring that the Club has cover for the various support activities which are vital to ensure that matchdays run smoothly. The volunteers who cover the support activities are experienced and many will continue for season 2017-18. Co-ordination and communication skills are key to this role, with communication with the board, the volunteers, with the staff at Princess Royal Park and, at times, with other bodies at the heart of the role.

Physio/Medic. This key role has been very ably filled for a number of years by Albert Cran. It entails working with the first team squad ahead of matches, during matches and afterwards and ensuring that medical issues are identified and managed. Attendance at all matches, home and away, is part of this role but the exact level of support and involvement can be discussed.

Interested parties should, in the first instance, contact the Club at its email address: deveronvalefc@highlandleague.com

Willie Shaw  - 27/4/17
We are saddened to hear that lifelong fan Willie Shaw has passed away. Willie was a real character who served on the committee as well as being the club’s kitman/spongeman for many years, and he was a very popular figure in the dressing room. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Fans Bar / Sponsors Lounge  - 25/3/17
Fans Bar / Sponsors Lounge open from 2.00 this afternoon - come and join us before and after the game - all welcome

Match Sponsors - £25 per person offer  - 22/3/17
Match Sponsors - we have spaces in our Sponsors Lounge / Fans Bar for our remaining three home games - if you would like to be one of our match sponsors at a reduced price of £25 a head please contact Steven on 07713 272678 and enjoy the games. Also if you haven't used your complimentary tickets, time is running out with only a few home games to go - remember they are only valid for this season.

PRP Pitch Update  - 17/3/17
Investigation of the drainage problem at PRP continues and PRSCT are in regular contact with Aberdeenshire Council regarding identification of the cause of the problem and planning for remediation work during the close season. The affected area of pitch will be verti-drained again on Sunday 19th March ahead of our next home game against Forres Mechanics on 25th March. Following that our final home games of the season are scheduled for Saturday April 1st and Wednesday 5th April against Clachnacuddin and Inverurie Locos.

Clearly the continuing problems with drainage are frustrating for everyone but the Club would like to express its thanks to PRSCT for continuing to pursue a solution with Aberdeenshire Council, to Duff House Royal Golf Club for their kind assistance with the verti-draining and to their greenkeeper Derek Anthony for organising the work.
