Vale Sign Experienced Defender  (First Team Club News)- 12/5/16
Deveronvale are pleased to announce the signing of central defender Steven Fraser from Forres Mechanics. Steven, who is now Aberdeen based, brings a wealth of senior football experience to the first team squad, despite being only 25, having played with Forres Mechanics, Rothes and Elgin City. Manager Steve Dolan said “I am especially pleased to bring Steven to Princess Royal Park and am sure he will form a strong defensive partnership with club captain, Scott Fraser. A number of players have helped out in this position over the season, however the signing of a specialist central defender will allow us to use these players in their first choice positions.” We wish Steven a happy and successful stay at Princess Royal Park and thank Forres Mechanics for their constructive approach to the transfer.

New Main Sponsor Revealed  (First Team Club News)- 30/4/16
Deveronvale are very pleased to announce that The ‘Famous’ Spotty Bag Shop, one of Banff’s most successful and well known businesses, has kindly agreed to become the Club’s new main sponsor. Club chairman, Jim Mair, commented “We’re very pleased that Des Cheyne, The Spotty Bag Shop proprietor, has agreed to take on the role of main sponsor and look forward to working closely with Des to move the Club back up the Highland League next season. The Spotty Bag Shop is an iconic and vibrant local business and Des very much shares the sense of local community that the Club’s board and management are trying to promote. The fact that Des has agreed to sponsor the Club for the next three seasons gives us a great basis to build on and we would like to express our sincere thanks for this support”.

Des Cheyne said “It delights me, being born and bred in Banff, that we, as a local business, are now the main sponsors of Deveronvale for the next three years. We hope that our contribution, along with the continued support of a very loyal group of fans, will go some way to help bring good fortune back to the Club and that next season they can start climbing the SHFL table”.
