Archibald Transfer-listed  - 18/11/16
Deveronvale have transfer listed midfielder Liam Archibald at his own request. Liam has been out injured for some time but is now getting back to full fitness and is keen to secure a regular starting position. Manager Steve Dolan said “I would prefer to keep Liam as part of our squad as I see him to be an important player for the Club but understand the reasons for his request". Interested parties should contact the Club at deveronvalefc@highlandleague.com.

Vale 2-3 Formartine  - 17/11/16

Vale pushed title chasers Formartine all the way last night and were winning two-nil until three goals in seven minutes turned the game on its head in the favour of the visitors. Dane Ballard & Callum Murray were the scorers for the battling Banffers.

Vale 7-2 Strathspey  - 12/11/16

Injury Update  - 8/11/16
The season so far has seen a number of injuries which have impacted on the manager’s ability to select a settled team, especially in the back four. Whilst a number of players have willingly covered the gaps and done well when required, the lack of continuity has cost us, especially in tight games.

The latest news on the main injuries is as follows:

Scotty Fraser – cartilage tear in the knee. Operation on 16th November. Hopefully returns in January.

Kevin Adams – awaiting a further consultation on his knee injury with NHS Grampian.

Ross Aitken – suspected ankle ligament damage. Scan on 11th November.

James Blanchard – awaiting a scan on knee injury sustained at the end of lthe Aberdeenshire Shield match against Locos.

A number of players have now returned from injury, including Kyle Rae, Zander Jack and Dane Ballard and will hopefully remain injury free for the remainder of the season. Lukas Krobot is back from offshore tomorrow, his ankle injury has improved and he will train tomorrow.

This season we are using Injury Time Physiotherapy LTD to help us with diagnosis of injuries and players receive treatment both from ITP and from Albert Cran, our long serving and much valued medic.

Clach 2-1 Vale  - 5/11/16

Despite a very good performance Vale failed to take something home from the Highland Capitol, Daniel McLennan scoring twice to steal the points for the homeside, Paul Sutherland's fifth of the campaign was the very least the Banffers deserved
