New Sponsor & Strip Formally Unveiled  - 4/8/16
Deveronvale’s new main sponsor, The Famous Spotty Bag Shop, was formally unveiled before the start of the club’s first Scottish Highland League fixture of the season against Fort William FC at Princess Royal Park, Banff on Saturday 30th July. Vale won that match 4-2, hopefully marking the start of a successful partnership between the sponsor and the club. The Spotty Bag Shop proprietor, Des Cheyne, joined the club’s management and the first team squad for the club’s start of season photoshoot. The Spotty Bag Shop’s mascot, Spencer, was also in attendance and was pictured with club captain Scotty Fraser and Des Cheyne.

Manager Steve Dolan expressed his appreciation for the The Spotty Bag Shop’s support and said “it is great that we have a local businessman of Des’s standing backing the club and hope that his involvement will encourage further local businesses to get involved at Princess Royal Park and in supporting the club as we push to improve our performances this season”. Vale continue their SHFL league campaign on Saturday 6th August away to Nairn County. The next home match is against current SHFL champions Cove Rangers on Wednesday 10th August in the quarterfinal of the Aberdeenshire Cup.

Support for African Schools  - 18/7/16
Deveronvale have very generously donated a supply of old football strips to the Global leadership academy, Jeffery's Bay,South Africa.

The strips will be taken to south Africa by a team of 17 people from Riverside Christian Church in Banff. The team will be there for 10 days.

The School in Jeffrey's Bay is part of a bigger christian Community called Global Challenge that Riverside Christian Church has very close ties with.

Global Academy is a school of mixed race and the pupils come from both well off and poor backgrounds. This school goes a long way in seeing breakthroughs where there has been serious racial divides."

Rob McArthur team leader says "The football shirts will be worn proudly by the school teams in various inter school competitions.”

Deveronvale chairman, Jim Mair commented “we at the Club are very happy to provide a small measure of support to this initiative and wish the Riverside Christian Church a successful trip to the Eastern Cape of South Africa."
