New Sponsor & Strip Formally Unveiled  (Other News)- 4/8/16
Deveronvale’s new main sponsor, The Famous Spotty Bag Shop, was formally unveiled before the start of the club’s first Scottish Highland League fixture of the season against Fort William FC at Princess Royal Park, Banff on Saturday 30th July. Vale won that match 4-2, hopefully marking the start of a successful partnership between the sponsor and the club. The Spotty Bag Shop proprietor, Des Cheyne, joined the club’s management and the first team squad for the club’s start of season photoshoot. The Spotty Bag Shop’s mascot, Spencer, was also in attendance and was pictured with club captain Scotty Fraser and Des Cheyne.

Manager Steve Dolan expressed his appreciation for the The Spotty Bag Shop’s support and said “it is great that we have a local businessman of Des’s standing backing the club and hope that his involvement will encourage further local businesses to get involved at Princess Royal Park and in supporting the club as we push to improve our performances this season”. Vale continue their SHFL league campaign on Saturday 6th August away to Nairn County. The next home match is against current SHFL champions Cove Rangers on Wednesday 10th August in the quarterfinal of the Aberdeenshire Cup.

Deveronvale 4-2 Ft. William  (First Team Club News)- 30/7/16

Paul Sutherland and Gary Harris both picked up braces as Vale over came a plucky Fort William side in the season opener at Princess Royal Park.  Vale went behind to a Davidson Penalty, but minutes later Gary Harris scored, also from the penalty spot. Paul Sutherland scored twice before half time to give Vale a healthy lead.
Fort pulled one back early in in the second half before Harris scored Vale's fourth, and the goal of the match, with his strike partner Sutherland providing the impressive assit.

Minute's Applause  (Other News)- 27/7/16
We shall be having a minute's applause before Saturday's game against Fort William in memory of lifelong supporter and founder member of the Supporters Club, Bob Ferguson, long-serving Lossiemouth club official Lorna McIntosh, and former assistant referee Sandy Smith, who all passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their families at this sad time.
