|Following two good outings against Montrose and Stonehaven, the pre-season continues on Saturday when the Club takes on Culter FC at Crombie Park, Culter with an early kick-off at 1.30pm. Culter were established as an amateur club in 1891 and have become one of the top junior sides in the years since they stepped up from the Aberdeenshire Amateur leagues in season 1987/88. They have won the Superleague on a number of occasions, as well as recording regular success in the various junior cup competitions. Last season they finished 5th and will be looking to improve on that position this season.
On Tuesday we face an Aberdeen XI at Princess Royal Park as part of Scott Fraser’s Testimonial Season. Kick-off is at 7.45pm and we’d encourage everyone to come along to show their support for Scotty, a true Vale stalwart, and the team.
