Occupation  Joiner
Briefly outline your football career prior to joining Deveronvale.
4 seasons at Islavale (1990/91, 1991/92, 1992/93, 1993/94)
1 season at Turriff Utd (1994/95)
Which year(s) did you play for Deveronvale? Who signed you for the club, and what attracted you to join ?
1995/96, 1996/97 and 1997/98
Kevin Bremner signed me.
I wanted to give the Highland League a crack and of course the shower facilities!!! (Old hut at that time!)

What are your fondest memories of your time with the club?
Scoring late winner against Cove to give the Vale their first league win over Cove since Cove joined the league. Also many sociable evenings – One involving dancing with Mr Blobby in Macduff Town Hall – don’t ask!
What is the most memorable game(s) you played in for Vale, and why?
Beating Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup at Cliftonhill and reminding my father in law about it every so often as his first love was Albion Rovers.
Who were the characters at the club ?
Bingo – true gentleman
Biz – always had a story to tell!
Rico Masson – funny without trying

Who were the best players you played with at the Vale and why?
Nigel Montgomery – great passer of the ball and a good talker who helped me develop both at Turriff and the Vale.
And who were the best players you played against, and why?
Martin Stewart and Gary Whyte (Huntly) – Combination of power and pace made them a very good partnership and always gave us a tough time.
What have you done in a football sense since you left the Vale ?
Played for Keith for 5 seasons. (1998/99, 1999/00, 2000/01, 2001/02, 2004/05)
Played for Forres Mechanics for 2 seasons. (2002/03, 2003/04)
Played for Islavale for 2 seasons (2005/06, 2006/07)
Player/Manager at Islavale for 1 season. (2007/08)
Retired Summer 2008.
What does a normal Saturday afternoon entail for you these days ?
Playing golf or watching Highland League or Junior football.
Looking forward to going to see Scotland at Hampden with my wife Laura and children Eilidh and Dodie.
