We are most saddened to hear that legendary journalist, author and media relations officer Bill McAllister has passed away.
Bill was a well-known figure throughout the Highland League, covering matches for the P&J and Radio Scotland for many years, as well as being popular on the after dinner circuit, attending many club's Sporting Dinners as guest speaker.
He also wrote'Highland Hundred – The History of the Highland Football League 1893-1993'.
Our thoughts are with Bill's family at this difficult time.
