Long-Standing Vale Supporter Passes Away

Everyone at Deveronvale was very saddened to hear of the passing of popular Vale supporter Jim McLean at Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday 4th July at the age of 77. Jim was a stalwart and faithful Vale supporter for many years and was also a former committee member of the Deveronvale Supporters Club.

Jim’s funeral service will be held at the AD Walker Rest Rooms in Banff at 2pm on Thursday 13th July followed by an interment at Myrus Cemetery, Macduff. The family has invited all friends to the service but rather than flowers they would ask that donations are given to the charity Barnardo’s. Our thoughts at this sad time are with Jim’s children, Steven, Angela and Debbie and with grandson Jack.
