18-year-old Olek Dlugosz is the latest player to sign a 2-year contract extension with Deveronvale, which will extend his stay at Princess Royal Park until at least the end of Season 2025-26. Olek was a key player in last season’s SHFL U18 title winning side and was one of the 8 players from that team who signed his first professional contract with the Club in May 2022. Olek was out on loan earlier this season but joined the first team squad at the end of last year and has since contributed valuable goals against Fraserburgh and Keith.
Manager Craig Stewart said: “It is really rewarding to see our young players make the big step up to SHFL football from the U18s and the Juniors. Olek has now been involved of 10 of our 35 games this season and has made an impact in each. He’s a strong, talented player and another who I expect to see kick-on in Season 2023-24”.
