Everyone at Deveronvale was very saddened to hear of the passing of longstanding committee member, Stan Harrower, on Friday 17th March at the age of 87. Stan was a familiar face at Deveronvale matches at Princess Royal Park for over 15 years and will be sorely missed. A minute’s silence in Stan’s memory will take place before Deveronvale’s penultimate home match of this season versus Wick Academy on Saturday 15th April.
Our thoughts at this sad time are with Stan’s daughter, Maureen, son-in-law Ian and grandsons Ewan and Ross. Stan’s funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 29th at Banff Parish Church at 1.30pm. The family have asked for “no flowers” but any donations given on the day will go to local charities.
